Yes, well we're still here, happily moored, in the Port at Evran. waiting for the proper arrival of Spring....and the official opening of this lovely new wash-house facility!
.....yes I did offer to 'stand in' for the Queen at the opening ceremony on the 8th April but didn't want to upstage the Mairie, so had to turn it down!
The above picture should not be confused with......
The Lock-Inn Brewery ...you see here, my friend Paul's concrete brewery foundations with access to power, water and drainage.
The housing arrives next week. Then I apply my brewing and training skills to the full, with many tasting pleasures to come...not to mention jolly good company.
I'm just finishing the inside plan for a '60 litre brew' house. I'm so excited. Plans will be published next.
We plan to have two fermenting vessels which will enable us to brew two varieties on the same 'brew day'. There will be no bottling needed. All beer brewed will be cooled and stored "live" in "Cornelius kegs" and served using hand pumps and/or gravity.
